As per the constructivist theory developed by Piaget it is believed that
learning cannot be delivered or imprinted. An individual constructs his
or her own learning based on personal experiences.
The entry point approach believes that a subject can be learned through not just one but five methods. The five important learning methods for a particular topic are aesthetic, narrative, logical or quantitative, foundational and experiential. Simply put, a topic or subject can be learned by listening, seeing or experiencing.
St. Joseph Chaminade Academy along with Brainekids uses technology-based learning tools such as story books, audio books, videos and toys. The inclusion of technology based teaching tools helps children select their experience and entry point of a topic while learning it with peers.
