Every 5th of  June is declared by the UN as World Environment Day.  It  is meant to stimulate worldwide awareness of environmental issues and encourages positive action to protect nature and the planet earth.  Since the school reopened on 15th June this year, SJCA celebrated World Environment Day on 27th June, Saturday.   To create awareness among our tiny tots, they were asked to come in green colour dress, so that they understand the importance of clean environment and appreciate the surrounding in the campus and at home.  To highlight the day activities were conducted based on environment.  L.K.G. had thump printing activity on shapes of vegetables, U.K.G. had collage work on tree and Std. I prepared chart on surrounding.  Our Principal Fr. Bhaskar, Br. Doss, all teacher, students and  non-teaching staff planted saplings in the school premises.  We hope the students shall be more responsible towards the surroundings and the  mother earth.
